Toastmaster

The Toastmaster is an integral part of the 'project' team. He consults with the hosts on every aspect of the event and agrees all necessary timings, procedures and important moments. The Toastmaster advises on etiquette, ceremonial protocol and correct forms of address.

The Toastmaster’s main duty is to ensure the smooth and timely running of the event. This includes the following activities:

Announcing guests and presenting them to the hosts
Making all guests feel welcome
Gaining silence and attention for grace, speeches and toasts
Introducing artistes and entertainers
Liaising with banqueting staff and photographers.

Types of Events

Shegun is competent in a wide range of events, including the following:

Corporate

Product launches, company lunches and dinners, conferences, presentations, facilitations and corporate hospitality.

Entertainment and Media-related

Dinner dances, banquets, sporting events and awards ceremonies.

Private

Weddings, charity fundraisers, reunions and garden parties.
